Law of Attraction on Messy Manifestation

The thought I’m sharing this week is quite different, coming from another place, a personal space. I’ve always been 1,000% sincere and authentic in my writings, but rarely ever personal. No reason. That’s just how I work.

Of all the creative, lofty titles and identifiers given to me through the years, the one I most identify with is “teacher.” I smile when someone says, “You are Light; Wayshower; Spirit Guide, …” There are more traditional titles my experience and education would allow me to use, BUT! When I wake up in the morning, I know myself only as “teacher.” When I lie down to sleep at night, I know myself only as “teacher.” That’s who I am. That’s what I am. That’s how Spirit shows up through me in the world.

Do I channel? Occasionally, yes, probably more than I know. But that isn’t my “go to” at this moment in my journey. In my writings, group gatherings or 1:1, I simply give from my place of “knowing.” That is my “zone of genius,” my “zone of excellence,” my comfort zone, my lane, and I stay in my lane always. LOL!!!

This week, Just Thinking isn’t coming from Carol, as "teacher,” but just Carol in her personal space.

Recently I found myself "drowning” in a “How the hell did this happen” situation. I know how “It” works and how to work it, so what is this messiness? Among other emotions, taking center stage was anger. A more accurate description would be “Pissed.”

First of all, when you’re pissed, you can’t see or think clearly. I was right there, total fog. 911.

There are ascended masters I call “The Mentors,” a kind of cosmic mastermind group with whom I consult. Passing by a little chapel, I went in to just escape into the silence for a few minutes.

I speak quite plainly to Spirit and The Mentors, so after a bit, I said, “What part of this has anything to do with what I asked for? I know universal laws; I know how the Law of Attraction works. What is this messed up manifestation y’all got going here?” I laugh now but it was not funny then.

What came back to me was:

“This is exactly what you created with your thoughts. This is exactly what you created with your fears. You attracted exactly this messed up manifestation, as you call it. The universal laws work (and always work) precisely and with exactitude. This messed up manifestion is the out-picturing of your own creative thoughts.”

Ok, so after I picked myself up from the proverbial “spiritual” floor, I took inventory of every aspect of this messy manifestation. Looked at every effect and traced it back to its cause or causal thought. There were thoughts of guilt, fear, doubt – the whole tribe of saboteurs.

Don Miguel Ruiz said, “Don’t take anything personally.” OK, I quickly checked that off the list.

Life happens to everyone
Everyone feels unheard and misunderstood
Everyone has their version of the same story

What thoughts and feelings of doubt, and fear, was I nurturing in my subconscious mind, my belief system that came out as words and actions, then reality?

Words have power. Everything lines up with your word.

You’ve already figured out where I’m going with this. Words have power. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Hence, if there is doubt and fear in the heart, the mouth will speak it and BAM!!!! Messy Manifestation.

Ask yourself the right questions:

What did I say? and
When did I say it?
(Behind the words) What did I believe would happen?

The causal thought goes beyond prayer. You can say one thing and believe another. That includes self-talk. You can say one thing but believe and speak to your-self with self-sabotaging, limiting beliefs.

WRITE STUFF DOWN AS YOU ASK FOR IT

When we pray; when we ask; the manifestaion very often doesn’t reveal itselt immediately. Component parts need to come into alignment for it to be revealed. In the meantime, life continues to happen.

Sometimes the demands of life mount up such that we become distracted from that which was our original focus. We forget what we asked for. Then when it shows up, especially if it shows up much differently than expected, OMG! what is this???

Remember!

When you ask for something, you must be willing to take all that comes with it.

Sometimes, the messy manifestion is really just the stuff that comes with the “ask” that you didn’t factor in.

Get a notebook. Doesn’t need to be fancy. A little notebook that fits in your pocket or handbag will do.
When you pray (by whatever method), WRITE THE WORDS DOWN.
Date it every entry, so you’ll know what you’re seeing when you see it again; what you were thinking, and feeling.
Don’t just pray and rubber stamp it saying “Amen” or “So it is” because, so it will be.
Review, Tweak , Revise, Amend. Make sure you are saying what you mean to say, and want to happen.

Oh, yeah. I’m no longer pissed and I’ve experienced an indelible truth. The Law of Attraction is ALWAYS working whether you’re aware or unaware of it, or intentionally using it. So take your time and check out the entire landscape of your prayer or your “ask” before you say “Amen.”
