There are cars on the roadways that change lanes repeatedly, recklessly moving fast, darting in front of cars like they’re going to put out a fire. That can be annoying and dangerous.
Some drive their cars like they drive their lives. Those who don’t know who they are, no definite purpose, have little connection to where they are in life. You’ve seen them. They’re like leaves in the wind, all over the place; trying to do what someone else is doing, following the latest trend, jumping on the latest good idea, the flavor of the month. Lane Jumpers.
Some lane jumpers aren’t conscious of their behavior but others on the road of life see it because lane jumpers get in the way, cause stress and unnecessary mishaps occur.
A lane jumper has limited skills in the various lanes into which they cross, yet eager to instruct; like the chef telling the plumber how to connect the pipe.
Everyone has a lane, perhaps even a highway with their name on it. Some don’t stay in their lane because they either don’t like the speed, or where they think their lane is headed. Who knows? We only know that lane jumpers cause traffic backups and congestion, impacting everyone else on the road.

Often wrong pursuits are chased in ignorance. To pursue a destiny because you desire the recognition and favor that comes with it is like getting excited sifting fool’s gold. It looks like the real thing, but it has no value. Think about it. Life will sift you like wheat when you’re out of your lane. It looks like this:
That isn’t you, I’m sure; BUT if it is, it’s time to get your head on straight. Find your lane, get in it and enjoy the rest of life’s journey. Your abundance of everything is on the path – in your lane. Don’t let your ego drive the car. You’re the driver, and a car can have only one driver at a time.
Your lane will be your peaceful travel, that elusive place if your pursuits are misdirected and motives incorrect. In other words, you’re fashioned, fitted, perfect for your purpose, and designed for your journey. If you’re pursuing another for reasons not grounded in your life purpose, you’re out of your lane and you’ll always be lost.
Rather than randomly changing lanes, pull over at a rest stop. Schedule a Spirit Talk 1:1, get a focus on your purpose and set the spiritual GPS coordinates that will get you there.
There is peace in your purpose. Stay in your lane.
