By this point in your life, you’ve realized that the way you think is the way you live. You’ve become the person your thoughts created. In many cases it’s subconscious thoughts but your thoughts nonetheless. The quotes above by familiar spiritual masters confirm this notion.
Neurologists will tell you that you move towards your most predominant thought. Your brain finds it very difficult to focus on two things at once, so whatever it is that you think about most of the time, your brain prioritizes that.
This transcends the thoughts of self, and onto the world around you. The environment in which you find yourself, is the environment you mentally settled into. You may have wanted something different, but you are right where your thoughts acquiesced most of the time. If you wanted something different, that “something different” didn’t receive the strength of mental and emotional energy as that of the thoughts that brought you to your current reality.

If your prevailing thought is that the Universe believes in scarcity, that’s what you are going to see. If you believe you don’t deserve better or that better is not for you, you will have “less than.” We move toward our most predominant thoughts, so when we think that there isn't enough to go around, that someone has to lose something for someone else to win it, that is what we will magically see happening everywhere we go.
Of course, you could decide to embrace the opposite possibility. The choice is yours. You might want to develop the mindset that the Universe has more than enough for everyone, and that if every person got what they wanted and they desired more, the Universe would be happy to increase its abundance.
Think about the age-old question regarding your perception of a glass of water:
Imagine you have a glass container which holds 16 ounces of water at its fullest point. When it is bone dry it has 0 ounces of water in it. If there are 8 ounces of water in that container, is it half full or is it half empty? This is a philosophical question that quickly reveals whether you are a positive or negative thinker.
It also shows that in a split second you can decide to change how you look at anything. You can move from being a negative thinker (the glass half empty) to being a positive thinker (the glass half full). Remember, the Law Of Attraction will align you (your beliefs) with that which you believe because your beliefs have certain energy frequencies attached to them. In other words, you attract that which you believe.
I live near the ocean. I go there several times a week, sometimes for hours, other times for 15 or 20 minutes. I look at the sand and marvel at how much there is. I stand on a pier and look as far out into the horizon as possible. That’s a lot of water, BUT that isn’t all there is. I remind myself that this is just a snapshot of abundance. There’s more sand, and more water all over the world, and other possible worlds. I’m constantly reprogramming my subconscious mind and redefinning what’s possible.
When you know for certain that there is limitless abundance in the Universe, you begin to move towards that abundance and it begins to move towards you. What you believe about abundance manifests or shows up as prosperity in your life.
Embrace this belief to the point where there is no way you would question it.
By the way, abundance is more than limitless financial resources. Abundance is inclusive of all areas of life; relationships, physical health, career opportunities, entrepreneur success. or anything else you can think of.
